Usually, the veneers placement process consists of 2 steps over a time period of 2-3 weeks. First, you’ll come into Arrowhead Family Dentistry for your first appointment to have your teeth prepared.
At this appointment, your mouth will be cleaned and numbed. Then, Dr. George Hariri will remove a thin layer of enamel from each of the teeth that will be receiving a veneer. This must be done to make sure your veneers fit perfectly.
Next, Dr. Hariri will take photos and dental impressions of your teeth and send these to our partner dental lab, where your veneers will be built. This usually takes between 2-3 weeks, so you’ll get a set of temporary veneers to protect your newly-trimmed teeth.
Once your veneers have arrived at our office, you’ll come back in for your final appointment. Dr. Hariri will ensure that your new veneers fit properly, and bond them into place with dental cement. Your brilliant new smile will be polished and buffed, completing the procedure.
